A Thousand Names for Joy Book (ATNFJ)
I just finished ATNFJ last night. The book was a very good read. I intend to buy the paperback and I hope that eventually there is a book-on-tape released. There is a lot of good information in this book.
Byron Katie is a genius. You just have to love her perspective on life and reality. She clearly is a giant thinker in the self-development world. I have been a reader of self-development books for many years, and I see a trend in better and more interesting books being published lately.
I am going to try out a new idea. I am going to carry 3×5 cards in my wallet so that I can do The Work while I am anywhere in my day, everyday. This experiment should be interesting.
I have been thinking about changing the direction of this blog slightly. I want to change the focus from a public discussion of happiness in general for all to benefit from, to a more personal log of my own search for happiness.
The recent lapse in my posts to this blog seem to be the result of this blog inadvertently getting away from some of my core motivations.
I want to refocus this blog so that it discusses my real-time moment-to-moment thoughts about happiness.
I thought that I would give you, my reader, a heads up.
