The Feeling of Awe

One fascinating fact of reality is how one can look deeply at nearly any aspect of life and quickly identify truly amazing things.

One can look into the sky and be spellbound by the spectacular views.

One can look at a mirror and wonder about its amazing reflective properties.

One can look at a bath towel and wonder about how the complex and beautiful threaded patterns were manufactured.

All around you are marvels and miracles, take time to notice them. Wonder, awe and curiosity are all positive emotions. They are components of appreciation.

Schedule “wonder moments” in your day. Seek out interesting things consciously and on a regular basis. Have wonder moments when you take a shower, go for a drive, wake up in the morning, go to the bathroom, on your lunch break. Make awe and appreciation a regular habit.
