The Happiest Person in the Room

It is a great practice to seek out the happiest person in the room. In any situation look around and find the happiest person. Attempt to get closer and engage that person in conversation. You will find that your own mood improves when you are near happy people.

You can think of happy people as magnets. As soon as you walk into a house, building or room, you want to seek out happy people immediately.

The converse of this principle is to ignore unhappy or angry people. This is usually very good advice.

Bullies or angry people may shout and make a ruckus. They are merely trying to attract people’s attention with their negative behavior. Do not give in to their tactics. These turkeys may consciously try to arouse your anger by acting in disrespectful ways. By giving them your attention, you reward their disrespectful behavior.
