Re-Thinking Your Reality

Recognize that a significant amount of stress arises from not accepting reality as it is. For every aspect of reality, we seem to have plans or goals about how we can change it and make it “better”. Evidently, the way things are now is not perfect. For example, you probably have a plan to upgrade your car, house or television.

There are two problems here; the first is that you feel bad when you consider the imperfect aspects of your life. You might feel disappointment that the changes you have planned have not yet materialized.

Then there is the second problem, that changing reality often takes huge amounts of effort. Some of the upgrades you have in mind will literally take years to accomplish. Moreover, even though you expend the effort there is no guarantee that the change will actually take place.

What if you re-thought your reality? What if you imagined that your reality is exactly the way it should be right now?

If you knew that what is happening right now should be happening, then you might be open to feeling more relaxed and happy.

Take the time to think of a few reasons why things in your life are exactly the way they should be now. How could your life be any different than it is right now, given the decisions you and others have made in the past?

Your life right now is perfect, and what is happening right now should be happening.

  1. Eduardo Says:

There is no reality there is only perception. How you perceive your world determines how your world will and must be. It only makes sense to ‘play with your world’.
