Emotional Freedom Technique
Right now I am experimenting with the EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) here. The website makes some very impressive claims, and the technique itself is easy enough to learn and perform regularly. I became proficient in the basic recipe in about an hour, start to finish. There is nothing to loose.
The EFT technique reminds me of my earlier studies of NLP (neurolinguistic programming).
I really like the www.tapping.com website. This EFT instructor seems to know what he is talking about.

Miguel, I have been using EFT over the past few months to help with anxiety, sadness, and stress. I must say that I have had great success with it, as I now feel much calmer, more peaceful, and able to tackle problems without the burden of making myself physically ill over them. I’ll be interested in reading other comments, as I like to hear about others’ experiences with EFT.
