Brainswitching and Happiness
I just finished reading a great article about Brainswitching here.
When you realize that you are in a poor mood, try brainswitching as a way to kick yourself out of your funk.
I am pretty good at noticing when I am in a poor mood. When I notice my poor mood, though, I usually do not know what to do about it. Generally I just sit passively and wait until the mood passes. I try not to make any important decisions, and I try to steer clear of deep conversations and relax.
Brainswitching involves overriding your automatic internal dialogue with a neutral phrase. For instance, if you find yourself in a poor mood, you might be compelled to say to yourself “This is horrible”. Instead of saying ”this is horrible”, say the instead the word “yes” over and over again: ”yes, yes, yes” [or any neutral phrase]. You can even try to scream this neutral phrase in your mind.
Repeating the neutral phrase overrides your automatic thinking and it will put you in different state. Give it a try.

Cool I wil try it. Do you know more moodshifter ideas?
I try to get into a Happy Zone with happy songs on my IPod and funny stuff or motivational downloads.
I am using the secret and trying to say in a happy feeling when I am in a panic attack zone is challenging. I use 5htp and Gaba it works ok too!
I love using subliminal messages too. I have just stared and hope to see more great results. I believe that everything is in your mind and since I am adhd at 40 I must focus my mind on what I want out of life.
