Happiness, No Matter What the Cost

I ran across an interesting phrase this morning: “Happiness No Matter What the Cost”. What does this phrase mean to you? Does it make any sense? If so, what does it mean? Do you give away your happiness at the drop of a hat? Does it cost any money to be happy? If so, how much money does it cost?

What if, for you, being truly happy meant that you had to sacrifice the respect of your peers? Would you sacrifice the respect of your peers?

Could you be happy, no matter what the cost? What is holding you back from being completely happy right now?  Would you need something to change in your external reality to be completely happy? Or would you merely need to change your thinking, your beliefs?

What if you had a belief that caused you unbearable pain. What if that single belief was the only thing that prevented you from being completely happy. Would you drop the painful belief even if you thought that the belief was absolutely true?
