Who Is Responsible for Your Happiness?
The level of happiness that you obtain in your life moment to moment is your responsibility, and yours alone. This is a challenging and even existential truth.
As much as we would prefer the opposite,
-It is not my employer’s responsibility to make me happy.
-It is not my wife’s responsibility to make me happy.
-It is not my husband’s responsibility to make me happy.
-It is not my children’s responsibility to make me happy.
-It is not my family’s responsibility to make me happy.
-It is not my parent’s responsibility to make me happy.
-It is not God’s responsibility to make me happy.
-It is not the President’s responsibility to make me happy.
